The story of the glorious kingdom of Bourengard falling into its depth of despair had gone a long way, so long that only few of the living souls survived through the test of time to tell the remaining of willing ears. While the story alone intrigued many outsiders, another long forgotten story intrigued every citizen who cared to restore their home to its rightful glory. A story of a distant group of people who called themselves the People of Divination and claimed they had indeed foreseen the turn of events that yet to happen to their homeland.

Far inside the castle wall, another series of unfathomable occurances landed and causing consecutive uproars throughout the land; the birth of the foreseen heir and his quest to prove his worthiness. His journey started purely to prove himself worthy of carrying the family name then twisted into something else he did not expect when he set out for an adventure.

A Prince's Errand [PREVIEW] ✔️ | Book One of TALES OF THE AMULET by Robert_Zangari
16 parts Complete
Several millennia ago a war raged between the factions of dragonkind. With their world ravaged, the Kaldean Alliance forged the Amulet of Draconic Control and the Tethering Stone, and banished their foes to other realms, saving Kalda from utter destruction. Fearing the power of the Amulet, the survivors secreted it away. But now knowledge of the Amulet has resurfaced-and in the wrong hands, war could erupt anew. Long ago, men harnessed the Channels of Power, creating tevisrals-devices capable of manifesting magic. But men weren't the only ones to accomplish such feats. Dragons crafted the most sophisticated tevisrals. These shaped the world, defining civilization of man and elf alike. Over the centuries, the people of Kalda have fallen into a dark age, where elves are estranged from men and dragons have retreated into legend. Tevisrals are scarce and men are willing to trade everything for them. But there are some who wish to bury the past, and in their lands, possessing tevisrals is tantamount to treason. Still, daring men scour the world in search of Kalda's past. One such man, the scholar Krindal, seeks an ancient order known as the Keepers of Truth and Might. He yearns for their knowledge, long feared lost. Prince Kaescis Midivar also searches for these Keepers. The assassination of his uncle, the emperor of Mindolarn, killed his hopes of peace with his empire's enemies. His empire's survival hinges upon unearthing the Keepers' secrets. An aging warrior, Cornar Dol'shir, longs to be home with his wife. But his retirement must wait, as his band of adventurers is recruited to help find the Keepers' hidden temple on the Isle of Klindala. Haunted by his tragic past, Iltar, the Son of Adrin, does not join in the search for the Keepers. Instead, he seeks to unravel the mysteries held within a volume of prophecy foretelling the advent of the Unspoken One and the return of the Crimson Eye.

The kingdom of Verlockend has a secret. Within its emerald green hills and spanning lakes lies a deadly curse. Behind its citizens' extravagant masks exists a condition beyond compare: hideous boils that cover every face. For as long as Fawn has known, this is the way life has been under the rule of King Malin; everyone within its walls is mandated to wear a mask at all times, so as not to reveal the cause of Verlockend's mysterious solitude to its enemies. The curse that covered the miles of fruitful land long ago is not only hard to look at, but deadly as citizens continue to age. The elderly members of the community are starting to disappear more and more often, sent far away from civilization due to the violent characteristics of the curse. Their heartbroken families never see them again. Despite the horrors of this, Fawn lives a comfortable life as a baker's daughter. Having lived this sad tale all her life, she has grown used to spending her days hidden behind cloth. But even within the mundane kitchen life, a secret as big as her kingdom's always looms in the back of her mind: she is not cursed. She was born an anomaly, the one Verlockan citizen without those grotesque features the curse brings; her skin is smooth and white as milk, keeping her immune from the curse's claws. When the home she thought she knew is suddenly turned upside down, Fawn realizes that she cannot live surrounded by secrets any longer. Her chance comes upon meeting a cunning stranger named Jacinth, whose bold spirit leads them both into an unexplored land to discover the truth behind all the lies. Along with wise Kendry, confident Wrendolyn, and some companions along the way, Fawn finds herself as she discovers the story behind her kingdom's fate - and if there is a way to break the curse once and for all.

In a kingdom where legends shape beliefs and fears, an ancient prophecy whispers of the return of the Devourer, an entity capable of reducing one of the five kingdoms to ashes, spreading death and destruction across the world. Only the kingdom bearing the Morning Star could hope to appease this devastating force. This legend, long relegated to the tales of the White Temple, comes to life on a winter night when the full moon, at its zenith, illuminates the birth of a strange child. Astral, so named for his eyes that shine like stars, is found by Virion, the leader of an isolated village in the vast Nightblade Forest. Despite the villagers' distrust, who see him as a harbinger of doom, Astral is adopted by Virion, who refuses to abandon him to his fate. At the same time, in the light-drenched capital, a princess is born. Liana Heliore, named by her father, King Armand, is immediately recognized as the child of light, destined to guide the kingdom toward an era of peace and prosperity. A sacred pact is formed when a luminous raptor, transcending the boundaries of the material world, seals a mystical bond with the young princess. Thus begins the story of Astral and Liana, two children born under opposing stars, whose destinies are inextricably linked. While one bears the mark of darkness and storm, the other embodies the hope of a kingdom. Their lives, marked by mystical forces and ancient prophecies, intertwine to upend the balance of the world.

The Mad King's Throne

17 parts Complete

(Tales of Vothguard I) The final day of the mad king is close, and Beatrice, the mad king's wife must decide the fate of the throne. Without an heir the kingdom of star hold Stands on the brink of total collapse. Follow the journey of Beatrice a devote worshiper of the rival gods in her quest to redeem the kingdom. Note: Decided to change the name and the fictional lands name to avoid confusion. This book has been republished due to the name. (Moravia - Vothgaurd) I really liked the sound of Vothgaurd as it captured a more darker tone to what I'm looking for. The old name was an actual place and I didn't want to creat any confusion.
