This story is about a normal 16 year old girl with a loving family but she soon learns she is not normal. Her adopted parents are strict and one cool February night she will go out with her friends to see a movie. She realised she is late getting home so she runs home not knowing the streets and gets caught up in a drug deal gone wrong. She is shot and as she believes she is dead she gets bitten by a vampire and scratched by an immortal wolf. She sets out on her quest to find her parents but soon realises that she is the daughter of both the world's largest wolf kingdom and the world's largest vampire kingdom that are just miles apart.
