Some stories are happy. Some are sad. Some deal with romance or with death. Others with the inner mechanics of the human mind. This story has decided to be a happy one, although, it will have its sad moments. It follows the story of a young, well, 800 year old girl, named Delta. Delta Starhopper.

With that out of the way, I understand that this isn't a very normal way to tell a story, by having the narrator be self aware. However, I wish to try it, and see where it goes. 

Lastly, this is not the story. This is backstory as of now. Don't get your nickers in a twist because it doesn't seem like an introduction, as it isn't. This is laying the groundwork for something bigger...All Rights Reserved

Real world isn't that easy...if you can call a world full of mystical creatures very real.

Life was dull, boring, and mechanical. I’ve always wondered if this would change. If something interesting will happen. I always hoped something interesting will happen. A falling meteor that would destroy half of town, an alien invasion, or even the Apocalypse. Anything, just to relieve me of this monotonous life I lead. “Urgh,” I groaned as I reached over to turn off the alarm clock that sounded like a hundred sirens in the early hours of dawn. The golden sun hasn’t come out to expel the surrounding darkness yet. I figured it would take an hour more or so for the sun to show its shining face, so I decided to eat breakfast and take a bath first. But little did I know that today was the day that my life would change. It was the day I met her. ---------- A short story. Hey guys! This is my first try writing a pure romance story. I hope you'll like it. :D This story will be rarely updated, since I'm busy with school and stuff. Oh, here we go again-another friends-to-lovers story. I know what you're thinking: Doesn't everyone write these? Isn't this trope overdone? And honestly? You're not wrong. It's the kind of story we've all seen a thousand times. Childhood friends, shared memories, unspoken feelings-it's familiar, maybe too familiar. But hear me out, because this story? The messy, complicated, beautiful journey. So, buckle up. Maybe you'll roll your eyes once or twice. Maybe you'll scream at the characters through the pages. Which turns out were secrets for a reason. up next: the horrors (tm) you can expect themes of morality, prejudice, and personal identity. (those 3 are kinda staples of my writing generally. the big three things on my mind jdjdjd) Small disclaimer: This story contains quite a bit of darker subjects and therefore is meant for "older" readers. No to quote Alex Hirsch but "too scary for babies, too dumb for adults, perfect...for you" fun for the whole family if your families are fine with reading "fuck" aka swearing and some light horror If there's anything big happening you'll get a disclaimer infront of the chapter, otherwise just be aware this contains a couple of swear words, quite a few darker topics (politics gone wrong, mental health, trauma ect) so maybe watch out for those too. Also occasional descriptions of violence, but the first few chapters are pretty tame so for now there's nothing to worry about. unless ur worrying about curse words cause they will be there, usually. This is book 1 of a (most likely) trilogy. why it takes so long to upload?
