Some stories are happy. Some are sad. Some deal with romance or with death. Others with the inner mechanics of the human mind. This story has decided to be a happy one, although, it will have its sad moments. It follows the story of a young, well, 800 year old girl, named Delta. Delta Starhopper.
With that out of the way, I understand that this isn't a very normal way to tell a story, by having the narrator be self aware. However, I wish to try it, and see where it goes.
Lastly, this is not the story. This is backstory as of now. Don't get your nickers in a twist because it doesn't seem like an introduction, as it isn't. This is laying the groundwork for something bigger...

Jade is a 15 year old girl. She is different from everyone in her pack. Because her eyes are multicolored she's bullied because no one has ever seen her shift into her wolf she's bullied. She lives with her abusive father who blames her for everything bad that happens. She is in total hell. All she wants now is her mate. When she does find her mate who's the soon to be alpha of the Moon pack he rejects her. Broken in more ways than one she runs away to try and start new. She ran into the most powerful pack of them all the Red dawn pack. They take her into their pack and discover that she's not just a wolf but a hybrid. Oh, here we go again-another friends-to-lovers story. I know what you're thinking: Doesn't everyone write these? Isn't this trope overdone? And honestly? You're not wrong. Someday - A Short Story
Life was dull, boring, and mechanical. I’ve always wondered if this would change. If something interesting will happen. I always hoped something interesting will happen. A falling meteor that would destroy half of town, an alien invasion, or even the Apocalypse. Anything, just to relieve me of this monotonous life I lead. “Urgh,” I groaned as I reached over to turn off the alarm clock that sounded like a hundred sirens in the early hours of dawn. The golden sun hasn’t come out to expel the surrounding darkness yet. I figured it would take an hour more or so for the sun to show its shining face, so I decided to eat breakfast and take a bath first. But little did I know that today was the day that my life would change. It was the day I met her. ---------- A short story. Hey guys! This is my first try writing a pure romance story. Rose had everything a girl could wish for, she had a loving mom, and best friends who were always by her side and one thing she loved the most is horses. But it all came crashing down when her mom got in a car accident on her way to see her ride. *1 month later* She moves in with her dad who she hasn't seen in 10 years since he left when she was 7 years old and she's hated him ever since. When she gets there she wants nothing to do with him. Still hurting from her mom's accident and thinking it was her fault her mom ended up dying and now to go on top of that she has to live with the dad that abandoned her all those years ago. She also lost interest in riding horses, too until she meets the three most snobby, rich kids named Madison, Bonnie, and Lucy, who think they are better than everyone when it comes to riding horses, but Rose sure doesn't think she is. Rose thinks she can beat them, so Rose challenges her and tells her that she can beat her, so they make a deal, but the one think Rose didn't think of was that she stopped ridding because of her mom's accident and that means she has to get back on a horse. At first she doesn't think she can until a beautiful grayish white mustang comes to her dad's farm, who Rose names later as Stardust. Rose finally realizes that she can do this alone, she's going to need help from her father to help her get back on and also have help from the new cute boy, Austin who's helping for his community service. At first he doesn't want to be there, but eventually finds a reason to stay. Rose has had a good life up until the day of the accident, but now she's got to face loss, and heartbreak, but she's got to learn to get back in the race. This story holds romance, family, trust, understanding the past, and conquering your fears. *Read to find out more, I know it may sound boring from the description, but it's really not.
