It was a cold winters night when a bright little boy met a little girl with a dark life. They sat on a park bench and talked all night long. A boy who lost his dad, and a girl who was abused by hers. In just one night they became the best of friends. They fell asleep on that park bench, but when the little fire mage woke up, Lucy was gone.

11 years later, Natsu lived a life of endless searching. He searched for his Dad, Igneel, and he searched for his friend, the girl he had met long ago. There was no sign of either of them, that is until a certain S class request to catch a psychopath came up.
