Kate Rogers was a happy go lucky, go with the flow kind of girl, until her parents get divorced and her boyfriend cheats on her. Her entire world crashing down, and if it wasn't already bad enough, her mom moves her from a small town in Maine, to New York City. Changing schools right before her senior year of high school wasn't what she had planned. Feeling like there was no purpose of living and not cracking a smile for almost two months, things start to get better when she meets Ross. She may be a little unsteady, but he shows her that there can be light at the end of the tunnel.
