David, a young army ranger, is sent back from his 2nd tour in Afghanistan after his father dies while drinking and driving. He is encouraged to stay home and help his aging grandmother take care of his 15 year old sister Liz. But he is reluctant, having been sent to military school after the gang shooting of his mother 10 years before and feeling responsible for it. Now, Liz is pursuing a gang path just as a vicious turf war threatens the streets of LA. Will Liz be another casualty of the senseless violence or can David salvage the shattered remains of what was once his family? He won't have to do it alone. His childhood friend Cheeto; Claudia a virtuous Children's Center worker; and a cloaked stranger who rescues David from a gang hit are there to help. #323 in Action 9/29/16 #269 in Action 9/30/16 #236 in Action 10/21/16 #199 in Action 4/6/17 #117 in Action 4/8/17

A grumpy/sunshine duo. A motorcycle rally. A slow burn MM romance with sparks, scars, and second chances. Carlos // The thing about fire is, you never notice how close you're standing until it burns. Chuck's that kind of fire-short fuse, sharp tongue, and the kind of stare that pins me in place. He drives me crazy, which would be fine if he didn't also make me laugh, listen, and look twice when no one else does. I told myself helping him plan this rally was just a favor for a friend. Then the late nights started feeling like something else entirely. Chuck // I don't do sunshine. I do engines, late shifts, and keeping my head down. But Carlos has this way of worming into my space, bright and relentless, until I start looking forward to the sound of his laugh more than the roar of my bike. He's everything I don't deserve. He's soft, open, good. And somehow, he's the one thing I can't seem to stay away from. 📖 Part of the Road to Us Collection The Road to Us Collection is a series of interconnected standalone queer romances about friendship, found family, and falling in love against the odds.
