It's the summer before her senior year and Esme Nadeena is as uninspired as when she first entered through the smudged glass doors of Maple Ridge High. Her future is a big question mark in her peripherals, growing obnoxiously larger with each passing day. The only thing keeping her anxiety from shackling her to her bedpost is the fact that this year is anything but mundane, and if she ever wants a chance at answering the big, "Who am I?" she'll have to be an active participant in the lives around her.
Esme will soon learn what it means to care, to hurt, and how to find yourself in someone else.
Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
