"Hey darling," a dark man with vampire red eyes greets me with a sudden hand curling around my neck and lifting me off the ground. He tilts his head and looks behind me as I claw at his hands, trying my best to get away from his powerful hold that doesn't seem to want to let me go. I don't need to breathe, but dammit it hurts when his nails dig into my skin. "I saw your little friend walk in here, and I'm more than happy to have a taste."
"I'm not exactly sharing," I hiss through gritted teeth, and with a throaty laugh he drops me to the floor. I'm back up in a second, lunging for him with canines extended.

Always thought it was fascinating how when he runs you can't see it. Being a vampire must be...fascinating. Yet he makes it out to be hell. I can't understand that kind of complicity of being a vampire and the issues. I get it, they drink blood. Though there's multiple things beside humans that offer blood! He acts like it's so horrific. It hurt. "L-let me go, you, you're hurting me!" I looked up at him scared, his eyes were now completely dark, and the next thing I noticed were pointed teeth poking out from his lips. I screamed and pushed at him but he didn't budge. I then raised my knee and kneed him between the legs with all my force, and he dropped like a rock, holding his groin. Run. I took my chance.
