What if it was a border? 

For Elina, it is. On her side of the fairy built wall, chaos has taken over her beloved border town - the old goblin king has died, and both of his twin sons are fighting for the crown. For her, this is a death sentence, with laws and sanity crumbling around all around her. Fearing for her safety as a Druid, she is forced to flee. 

For Aspen, a guard of the Wrong Side, his job has gotten considerably more difficult. Foreigners for the first time are crossing over - and it's his job to kill them. To keep the Elven Frost safe, he stands by the border, sword in hand, and does his duty to his race.   

But, when their paths cross in a whirlwind of blood and grief, they discover that together, they may be the last hope for the lands - and each other.

But the one she couldn't wrap her all-too human mind around was that she would one day grow wings and fly away from her almost Happily Ever After to live in a hive with ancestors more alien than a hottie with pointed ears and abandonment issues. ~~~~ Yes, there are adult themes in this book, and difficult subjects, but nothing is excessive, as this is probably my simplest story. So, trigger warnings: A history of assault. Occasional vulgar language. References to partial cannibaliam. Extremely mild, light, and rare sex scenes. At least one elitist mentality. ~~~~ Ages of MC/ML: Esme: Apparent age of 24, roughly 20 years lived (mostly human). Althalos: Apparent age of 30, roughly 65 years lived (Elves mature slower).

Passion (Book 1 of "The Fantasy of Life" Series) de pvyuii

(Not proofread, not final version but all the chapters are there. This book is a fantasy story set at a modern time, although don't expect cell phones or true technology, cause who needs it when you have magic. I copy and pasted this story from my computer, this got rid of most of my italic, bold, or underlined words. Last note: Cover is temporary, it doesn't even come close to portraying what I want.) A revenge fueled journey leads a young elven girl and a group she brings together through her cause and some other nice coincidences. Something big, very big has come back from a long slumber, turning loved ones against their own people with some strange ulterior motive. When trying to escape the worst, and learning you're not wanted dead you wonder what it all means, what it's all for, and that only makes the rage worse.

Set against a backdrop of snow, ancient magic and conflicted hearts, the lines between enemies and allies blurs. -------------- This story will follow an unnamed elven prince in first person perspective, there will be some mentions of clothes or hair color but other than that, he is for self insertion. The story is almost done but I will update chapters over time. Triggering situations will be pointed out, with the concrete triggers put in a list before each chapter. Even though this story is about Legolas, there will not be any more details on the fellowship or the main story of Lord of the rings. This is story is going to be slow burning. I hope you will enjoy the story.
