Everything was going good in my life, I had an excellent career, a beautiful best friend who I can't stay away from, and amazing friends. But then everything changed. Nothing was the same, my life had totally been flipped on it's back and kicked in it's side, and I can't do anything about it. My thoughts are different, all turned to mush, I can't think straight anymore. All the things that I thought were real; taken right from me. 
And I was terrified.

But how can love survive, when death is looming and one half doesn't even realize it exists? The world is a dangerous place, and even with the help of their not-quite human companion Cat and and group of newfound friends, there are new, unfound struggles in store for the pair and a secret neither of them will see coming. I've read a bunch of phan, so why not write one? Dan Howell's life couldn't be any better at the moment. He has met the most beautiful, charming, kind girl he could ever imagine, and she loves him back. Everything is perfect... but not for Phil. Phil Lester has always been in love with Dan since the first moment he first met him, but now Phil's heart is crushed. He has some suspicions of Dan's girlfriend, but Dan just brushes it off, ignoring Phil completely. Unfortunately, Phil's bad feelings may be true...
