Nudged

"She got me, the second our eyes met." It was in that fleeting moment, as the crowd swirled around us at the gallery opening, that I felt an electric connection I couldn't deny. Her gaze was intense, almost as if she could see right through me, and her smile-radiant and warm-captured me in a way I had never experienced before. I wished I could have seen it one last time.

"He was different- a rare combination that made me feel as though I was always falling short." He made my heart ache with admiration as must as it did with despair. I had never met anyone like him... and I hope I never do again.

I wish he would have just told me the truth.
She was enough for me.
