Fire. When it spread it doesn't always destroy just houses and things but feelings and emotions are sometimes burnt too.

 When during some business party Tracy's father and Mr Davidson, his dad's best friend die in an accidental fire, his son Chance blamed Tracy's family. With these hard feelings and half burnt face which was the result of his last attempt to save his father, he left the country and went to London. But not without the promise of returning and bringing doom to Tracy's family.
