Ari Gallen has been gone for 8 years. After an infamous military career, a marriage, and her own false death, she is forced to return to Topeka with her team to hunt down an organization funding terrorists. Everything has changed, and amid the secrets and mistakes of everyone she used to know, Ari finds that the terrorists she once loved the terrorists she is hunting.
