A teenage boy named Ash ketchum, who is an a illegal street racer in Kanto. However, His mother sends him to the kalos region to meet his father and avoid prison sentence.

When he arrives, he befriends with Sawyer, who introduced Ash to the world of racing in Kalos, then challenges D.K meaning the 'Drift King', but loses, totalling up the car with lack of experience on drift.

To repay his loss, Ash must enter the underground world of drift street racing.
