This re-imagined version of Frank Yerby's 'My Brother Went To College" reflects issues of classism through the journey of a well-established Mark, an African American man who searches for his presumably poor brother to save him from the turmoils of lower-class society. He discovers his brother is richer than he ever knew, a discovery that tears his reality asunder, as well as any conception he has had of himself. This story is a reminder of culture, and a reminder of what can become of it.

I don't know why I expected him to apologize. A world where everyone primarily thinks of himself and not about what he could to help his brother in need? Dive into my vision, be bold enough to read these chapters, and accept that you may have also been committing these mistakes that corrupt our society and together, let us grow into better versions of ourselves and begin to wonder; what if this had happened to me?
