This re-imagined version of Frank Yerby's 'My Brother Went To College" reflects issues of classism through the journey of a well-established Mark, an African American man who searches for his presumably poor brother to save him from the turmoils of lower-class society. He discovers his brother is richer than he ever knew, a discovery that tears his reality asunder, as well as any conception he has had of himself. This story is a reminder of culture, and a reminder of what can become of it.

"I have told you times without number to stop calling me that," I say, angry at his insults. "Make me," Ethan says, taking a dangerous step closer. I don't say anything but hiss and walk past him. I don't know why I expected him to apologize. Ethan is hell-bent on bringing hell down on Adina, and she is determined to shove it up all the way into his ass. They are both opposites, but they say opposites attract one other. How would I have reacted? What can I do to change my community? What if I decide to manifest my dreams every day instead of wishing they would happen? Every single part of this will be entirely unique but all interconnected by one subject, "the human nature".
