As the Scepter'd Isle recovers from the fires of war, another sort of conflict is taking place. Good and evil have taken their tustle to far more disturbing lengths, as, humanity wasn't the only being afflicted by the Nazi's and their reign of terror.
A supernatural threat has emerged.
Another society lurks just beyond the periphery.
And one of their felons has kidnapped a darling girl named Maggie. Unfortunately for him, her older sister is hot on his heels.
Ellie Fry will stop at nothing to bring her baby sister home. Her eyes are about to be opened wide to the truth behind all those legends she adored as a child.
Those behind the Veil are desperately trying to maintain their obscurity, but, the gates have already opened.
A Banshee and her brother join the fray for a riot cast of misfit heroes.
Mysteries await and danger beckons.... a whirlwind romance might happen I reckon.

"He seemed like a puzzle to me, and I really liked solving puzzles. But somehow, I don't think that I would ever be able to solve this one." Amelia Heart, with her large smile and her infectious laugh, is what most people would think has the perfect life. They would watch as she went back to her beach house, as she went out of her way to stop and chat to her neighbours, as she would get the perfect grades. She was everything you wanted to be, and yet nobody had gotten close enough to her to understand her life in this small town at all. When her plans of leaving suddenly change, and she is forced to start attending the local school, her life takes a route that she hadn't accounted for. A new group of friends, a chance at a normal teenage life, even a potential love interest - things that Amelia had never even thought about happening after everything she'd been through. But happiness is only temporary in her life, and she knew that. It wasn't surprising to her when her past began to catch up with her present, it was simply a good thing that it had taken as long as it had. Things start happening in Amelia's life that simply don't make sense, even to her. They do say you should always keep an eye over your shoulder, especially when you know you're being hunted, but for Amelia, even an eye in every direction wouldn't be enough. Time begins counting down, fast. Did she want to involve her friends? Could the new people in her life be trusted? She wouldn't have long to make a decision. Not before her world comes blazing down, the final battle on the horizon. Tick, tock, Amelia. You don't want to be late to the party when you're the guest of honour. COMPLETED 06/11/20
