Doves, Lightning, and Other Things in the Air

Piper McLean and Jason Grace have made do with the things they have ever since Leo went away.

(They don't like using the D-word.)

Jason summons lightning when he needs to fry a monster. Piper uses her charmspeak to overcome the most troublesome of demigods. But all of this seems to play on repeat - and without their McShizzle man to crack a joke at the worst possible moments.

While these two demigods tell each other anything, neither wants to worry the other with things they've already been capable of doing alone.

But when the time comes for them to step inside the world of homework, bullies, and mysteries again, will they be able to keep in their pressing problems with the powers that they have?

Or will they finally be able to admit that they can only accomplish tasks of the air together?
