A pair of crystal blue eyes stare back at me from behind my shattered windshield. "Hello? Hello?" the operator calls. I shake my head, which brings on more pain flooding in. I let out a groan. My brain decides it had enough, I blink one last time, staring right back at those menacing blue eyes, everything then became black and I went unconscious.

"Please wake up." I said as I held his hand. I looked for any sign of response; a movement beneath an eyelid, a twitch of a finger. Nothing. He was just... blank. I felt the tears come. I played with his hand in mine; traced invisible messages in his palm with my finger, hoping just maybe he'd magically be able to get them. Tears started falling down my cheeks. I held his hand gently against my lips. Tears dropped on his fingers until they were as wet as my eyes. I rested my head on his limp hand. "I told you I needed you to stay."
