In the year 2478, war broke out and left the world terribly devastated. Nuclear weapon after nuclear weapon was fired, killing hundreds of millions of people and causing massive damage to the Earth itself. Many species went extinct, and if any survived, the radiation from the craters in the ground caused any animal to mutate in horrifying ways. Few people were left, most hidden in shelters far underground.
Four hundred years later, after so long from being underground, many of the shelters are forced to vacate their safe facilities to face the Earth - or what's left of it.
This story follows sixteen year old Sebastian Gray as he forgets everything he knows about the secluded underground to survive in the world he only heard stories of as a kid.
