A storm of biblical proportions hit the western United States. In its centre, the small town of Springbrook was flooding, residents forced to evacuate to a local landmark: the dark and towering Castle Moore. 

In the chapel behind, lay the body of a fallen angel. 
 
Trapped in his own mind, the angel was jerked from his cycle of pain by a teenaged boy looking for his father.
