Michael Hamilton leaves his home in Nebraska and moves to California with his parents for his fathers new job offering. As a shy, seventeen year old Michael finds time inside on his computer more comfortable than any socializing. He meets a few new people at his school including his strange next door neighbour who is a complete wild card, she comes off a bit psychotic to shy Michael with her ways of doing crazy things and living life on the edge. After being dragged for a night out around the town he's dragged into the craziest ride of his life.
