Toke Trevaskis steps from day to day with his hands in his pockets and his head in the clouds. He works for E. Hewerthin's funeral directors, yep, all four feet annd eleven nches of the little twerp.
Born in Cornwall, raised in captiviity and now living in Kent he has no need to worry. Well, not untill he comes across a key that seems to unlock nothing but death and disaster.
He has to get rid of it but it just isn't that simple.
But as the body count rises, Toke has to leap from pastel harmony to blood splattered survivalism through the killing fields of South East England and beyond.
With the dynamic agillity of a spastic orangutan, the stance of a roll top dresser and the personality of a 'dead tramps crotch', Toke must take on the ruthless and deadly in order to get home and feed Mike the cat before he takes humbridge and does a poo somewhere he should'nt.
