Set in the 1960's. Lucinda Jenkins and Jason Samuels have been friends for as long as they can remember, as they got older they began to realize that things around him were slowly starting to change. Segregation made its way into the south, making it harder for the Lucinda and Jason to be around each other. The two are getting ready to graduate from high school and a simple kiss was all it took. A simple kiss is what changed everything....and all goes downhill from there.
