Hi, my name is Sara-marie Williams, And I have been diagnosed with Acute leukemia, "acute" means. The leukemia cells can't do any of the work of normal white blood cells. The number of leukemia cells increases rapidly. Acute leukemia usually worsens quickly and I've been in the hospital for just about 2 years and my times running out... I'm 17 years old, I should be able to run around, have fun, drink, and party till I can't feel my feet, but instead I'm stuck in this all white room, trying my best not to get sick... The doctors have been honest, they told me I only have 5 months to live.. And I'm gonna make those 5 months count,whether my body likes it or not

After my appointment is over I shake hands with my doctor for the last time and leave the room. I see Joe still sitting in the waiting room. I walk up to him with a small smile. "How was it?" He says putting his hand around my waist. "Clear." I say leaning in to him. I look at him and he has the biggest cheesiest smile on his face. "I'm clear of blood cancer!" I shout as the whole waiting room looks at me, then starts clapping. I feel myself blushing. I can't believe after five years of having cancer I am finally free! 17. That's how old I am today. It's about time too. I was getting sick of being 16. I hear a low rumble being emitted from my chest. I run towards the woods before the change takes over my body.
