These were the words that Ryuu last heard as he fell. Falling with his friend Yami, falling away from the world where his sister Natsumi is, they separated themselves from the old life they once knew, unwillingly and against their will. The old life they knew was a simple, peaceful one. Video games, anime, manga, and all the money they'd need to keep themselves happy. But now that's all vanished.

The time was 12:01. That marked the end of the old life, and the begininning of their new life. They have now entered something that they can't back out of.

This is Soul Eater. This is "Anime 1." This is not a life too safe anymore.
