"Rose, We're on a huge jenga tower that could fall any minute and none of us will end up on top. If you make me angry and if I make you angry it could all fall down," ~ Alex Holton

She has it all, he has her. Not exactly love.

In a small town outside of Chicago new Hitman Alex Holton kills his first subject. His client: friend and love interest Rose Hares a 16 year old delicate belle. After the job is done Alex has to continue finding work while avoiding the law. On top of that his love for Rose is crumbling and reforming while she stays with him.

Rose learns more about Alex every day and starts to regret ever associating with him, but like Alex she is slowly falling in love.

To write this story I have listened to a few songs and gathered some inspiration here are the songs.

Nixon is the 3rd book in the Broken Series. (Ryan is the 1st, Brynn is the 2nd) Nixon leaves rehab early because he can't deal with being there anymore. His sister Kelis finds someone in need of a roommate so he moves in with the girl and gives her his middle name, Lucas. He quickly becomes addicted to the girl and once he gets one taste he's done for. He warns her about his past, about his name, but she ignores all the red flags, not realizing exactly how intertwined she is with the people from his past. He becomes enamored with her, feels like she was made for him while still battling the demons of his past and soon it all becomes too much for him to handle. He makes a heartbreaking decision, thinking it's what's best for both of them and everything changes.
