Not this weekend. Seven students, trapped in the school with a dead body and a building full of possible weapons. One is a killer. The question is, which one? We held our breath as we heard footsteps enter the dark room. My heart raced and I covered my mouth to keep from screaming as tears ran down my cheeks. Caleb sat next to me, with obvious fear in his eyes. I knew that the desk couldn't hide us for much longer and that's what scared me the most. The footsteps came closer and they grew louder by the second. I held my breath once I heard the man's footsteps stop. Caleb and I exchanged looks as we sat frozen under the desk. I looked up, trying to listen to the man's actions. Then a gloved hand grabbed the edge of the desk and the man's bloody mask appeared in front of me. He stared at us and chuckled, "Found you." · · · Seven classmates find themselves in detention from breaking the rules at their school. This, of course, isn't their first time in detention but something seemed different. The teacher leaves to do something leaving the kids completely unsupervised which was kind of weird. He usually left some goody two shoes to watch them but this time there was no one except them. Creepy things begin to happen and they find themselves locked in the school. What was this? Time is ticking as they try to find their way out before they end up lying in a puddle of their own blood.

Ocean Harrison is 15 years old, her life at school isn't at all great. Everyone makes fun of her and some of them even physically bully her. Ocean's home life isn't so great either. Ocean is an only child but her mom ran out on her and her dad when she was 4. Ocean's dad raises her, but he hits her too. One morning before she went to school she got into a fight with her dad. But when she got to school and into her homeroom, there was a new kid sitting beside her. She talks to him and they become friends. It turns out his life is similar to hers, but she's too afraid to tell him about her rough life. Ocean is best friends with the new kids. he helps her through extremely tough times throughout the book. She goes through ups and downs. and he is always there for her. No matter what he never leaves her side.
