How do you punish a three-thousand-year-old god?
By taking away everything that made him an immortal.

By chance, the fates of destiny reveal that the eternally single immortal Apollo is destined to meet a human meant to be his blushing bride.
Upon the discovery of whom the maiden is eighteen years after her birth, Apollo is livid to discover his betrothed is actually a foul-tempered brat with a very large chip on her shoulder. The sun god finds he absolutely loathes his intended bride nearly as much as she despises him.

After horribly angering his father Zeus by wanting to disregard his very own prophecy, the king of the gods casts Apollo down to earth, cursing him to never step foot onto Olympus again for encountering his wrath. The catch...? The sun god has only three months to woo his mortal betrothed into loving him, otherwise, live out the rest of his days as a lowly human. To make matters worse, there are quite a number of enemies the former immortal has made throughout his long life that do not wish for him to regain his immortality...

1st Place in the Percy Jackson Wattys 2018 * '"So it's settled then." Zeus said, "In order to solidify our truce with Nyx Apollo will marry Nyx's demigod daughter Ariadne."' * Ariadne lived in hell. Not the figurative type of hell-she really lived in hell. She was born and raised in Tartarus, the home of monsters, by her godly mother Nyx. She never knew anything about her father other than the fact that he was a son of Athena, and he was dead. Ariadne always dreamed of the world. She had lived her life in darkness, never seeing the light of day. That is until she turned sixteen, and her mother made a deal with the Olympians. Nyx would side with them against Kronos if Ariadne married Apollo. Unable to see her mother's real motives behind the deal, Ariadne jumps at the chance to leave hell, and get away from her mother. But Olympus is in the middle of a war, and Ariadne had never been one to sit out of a fight. If the war wasn't enough, Ariadne finds herself falling in love with the last person she ever expected to fall for. She fell head over heels for Apollo. * Disclaimer: This story is based around the Percy Jackson, Heroes of Olympus and Trials of Apollo books. All rights go to Rick Riordan. • MATURE STORY • Sydney couldn't help but give her best friend curious eyes after that encounter, watching the stunning man walk away from the corner of her eyes. She saw how he stopped to stare at her best friend. "Care to explain?" she asked, a small smile beginning to erupt. "We're just friends, barely friends even." Grace told Sydney. "But 'just friends' don't look at each other like that, Grace." ♡♡♡♡♡ Grace Sinclair is a sweet, gentle, florist. She owns her own little flower boutique named 'Daisy-Chains'. Ares is the War of God, he's the James Dean of Olympus, angry eyes and deliciously sinful. Zeus, his father, has had enough, demanding for Ares to start acting like the God that he is, Zeus demands marriage, preferably with Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love. Ares decides to pull a classic move on the day of his wedding, 'the run away Groom'. He soon finds himself down on earth in a small little flower store where he meets the temptress he had no idea he'd been waiting for. Grace knows Ares is devastatingly handsome, charming and confident. He is also a conceited, hedonistic playboy, who knows no boundaries. Grace desperately does not want to be attracted to him, but she can't control the overwhelming effect he has on her. Every instinct is telling her to run, to protect herself, so she does, but Ares is not so willing to let her go. He wants her and is determined to have her. She knows she's heading for heartbreak, but how can she run when he won't let her? ♡♡♡♡♡ "I'm going to ruin you. I"ll be your first, and I'll fuck you so thoroughly that I'll be your last, too. You won't want any other man after I've gotten my hands on you. Every last inch of you. You're mine." "I hate you!" she screamed, her eyes lighten with a fierce rage, tears streaming down her face, her fists throwing themselves at his chest repeatedly. "I hate you, I hate you, I hate you." she cried. "S'agapo." he whispered, gently wiping her tears away.
