Callie is your typical California Surfer girl. She's a normal teenage carefree girl, riding waves with her friends and she was really good at what she did. She's been surfing her whole life, able to 'read' the waves. This was all thanks to her father.Surfing was her and her father's thing. She was in love with both, whenever someone needed her, they'd always find her at the beach with her father. That is, until one fateful day where tragedy struck. Now, Callie is a 17 year old who lost her father, doing the one thing she loved most in the world - surfing. She's fatally afraid of water, and can't go near the ocean without having a panic attack. Now here comes Blake Bauerman, the new bad ass of the school. His ego is the size of Russia, and it's getting bigger day by day.
