The Consulting Detective

Rachel Westlake is the most promising young detective at the Scotland Yard. Under Lestrade's watchful eye, she is quickly becoming an intuitive, valuable member of the investigative team. So when the best surgeon in London vanishes without a trace, Lestrade immediately puts Rachel up for the investigation. But there's a catch; she's not alone. The Dynamic Duo as Sgt Donovan begrudgingly calls them have volunteered their services. Sherlock Holmes, the world's only "consulting detective", and his partner John Watson, a retired Iraq veteran and army surgeon, threaten to pull Rachel's case right out of her hands. The choice is hers: roll over and hand her first real assignment to them willingly, or fight back and prove her worth to Mr. Holmes. But will the case turn out to be more than she can handle?
