Every day is the same; he paints their fears according to the things that scare them the most deep down, all while remaining unseen by the humans whose fears he brings. He's known only as Fear, although he once had another name.
  
  Piper is a girl drowning in her own anxieties. Fear thought he'd left behind the human part of himself a long time ago; he's told himself never to get involved with humans. But, for some reason, Fear chooses to save Piper.

The danger is still present, in your time, as it was in ours. The danger is to the body, and it can kill. The form of the danger is an emanation of energy. Horror is an interesting person, and by far the most difficult genre to get ahold of. It took me forever to convince him to sit down and have an interview with me, and most of the questions he answered by physically showing me what he wanted me to feel from him. He made me mourn, he made me panic, he made me feel lonely, he intensified my fears. I almost feel sorry for him now, because he can't feel love, or compassion. Just...a cold and pale creature; strong, bloodthirsty. His eyes hold all of the pain hiding in this world. He made me curious, and I paid for that curiosity in full. He showed me the souls of fallen heroes, screaming in the dark. He showed me what it feels like to be helpless to a force I can't control. He wrote me a narrative to read. It's perfect writing material, if tamed correctly. Compilation of stuff I wrote in 2015-16. I was 13 or 14 years old at the time, so it's interesting to look back on it sometimes. Now to survive, he must battle creatures he never knew existed, unravel the truth behind his families origins and learn to control the very element that made him an orphan to begin with.
