It's 12:57 am and here I am getting high off of my thoughts and wonders. How did I end up here I was perfect and innocent... guess I am just disconnected from life but that is only the voices in my head. Disconnected.

I felt someone staring hard at me, I started looking around the crowd and everyone is staring at me, but this is different. I saw Ayden and his group of friends but then I saw a girl that wasn't there earlier. We made eyes contact she is beautiful.....my wolf says, "Mate!" I was excited......I finally found my mate. I smiled at her, and she was about to smile when she gave me a dirty look then turned away and started kissing Joshua. I couldn't believe it I know she saw me but she acting like we didn't make eye contact. Then the pain kick in............it felt like someone was sticking needles in my heart, then I couldn't breathe I felt short of breath. I lean against my uncle, "Jayden what's wrong?" my uncle asked. I'm just lying here in stillness and darkness wondering why. Why did this have to happen to my mom? We have nothing we can't even afford a house. Here I am a 14 year old boy that lives in a shelter home. Mom says one day we'll get out. But I've lost all hope. And I know my mom has no hope either. If she did I wouldn't have to hear her cry herself to sleep at night. I hate seeing her in so much pain. I wish, I could get a job. Maybe since I'm younger and a boy they'll hire me.
