In a darkened corner of a living room sat a girl shrouded in darkness whimpering every few minutes, holding her knees to her chest. Not far from her lay the two crimson corpses of her beloved mother and father covered in broken glass and dirt. The girl herself had been covered in blood some her own, other her parents as she clung to their stiff bodies. Until she gave up and crawled over the broken glass to the corner. She didn't know how long she'd been sitting there swinging back and forth whimpering catching only glimpses of her parents' dull, glossy eyes as cars passed by.

Somewhere in the distance of her terrified mind she heard the front door open. She heard a female voice calling out before she heard more glass breaking followed by a shrill, heart stopping scream. The girl covered her ears as the scream grew louder in her ears. She rocked back and forth even faster, crying for her mother. Her mother that lay on the ground before her motionless and cold.
