Book of Contests (2024)
To keep myself from losing track of: all the contests I've entered, all the contests I've volunteered myself as a judge (or let myself be voluntold into judging), all the books I've had to read as a contestant or as a judge, all the deadlines, and all the other important stuff, I've decided to create a book that registers all these things in a somewhat organized fashion. I can't remember who advised me to do that, but whoever you are, and there are probably several of you, thank you. I've been reading that it's extremely common for contests to be a bit sluggish with follow-up if a person wins a major prize and gets graphics and shout-outs, so I'll use this book to keep track of that, too. I had no idea so many people would be adding my personal convenience book to their own bookshelves, let alone voting for chapters - if my book of contests is useful to other people, that makes me happy. Very happy. However, I feel I must reiterate that although other people are welcome to browse my public contest logs and look for contests, look for information about details of contests (i.e. you want me to pour you some tea), etc, these contest logs are primarily for my own use. I enter so many contests that I can't keep track of them without a log. I forget important details, too, including things like "Note to self: You do not get along with this contest host, best not participate in their contests." This was never meant to be an "expose" book. I'm not exposing anybody. Contests are matters of public record, as are any comments made in the contest books. I'm just a ditz who needs a written log to keep track of everything. I would lose my head if it wasn't attached to my shoulders. Funny little AU because they keep popping into my wheelie bin of a brain but how and ever. A huge majority of this story will probably be in Liam's P.O.V by the way. This takes place during the time Liam and Bryce were in The Waiting Room messing up the radio numbers. When they get separated after ONE of their many mix ups, Bryce is left with the laptop and Liam? Who knows where he is or what'll happen to him. All he knows is that he's in a sort of metal room and is greeted by these tall odd figures... Im not gonna spoil much of this plot so you'll figure it out once you read! Quick little mentions here, this story will contain censored swearing/cursing, little bits of sodapack here and there, mentions of blood, death, being hurt? I'm not exactly sure how to word it, needles, self-offing, alcohol/alcoholism. Some other things may apply but I will update if so. Oh shit. Not another book she has to maintain. Update the others for God's sake! No<3 I keep having these eejits on my mind and I wanna just make a book dedicated to them. I'll use prompts from generators and some of my own ideas in this because yes. Valid reason, I know. I was thinking of not using my AUs in this but said "Fuck it." so you may see stuff for them. Anyways, like always, ONE is created by Cheesy Hfj on YouTube and I am simply just writing about two idiots in love because I need to spread cringe. I am cringing but I wrote these to distract myself from my exams, pardon me for this. "Randomly made perfectly flawed" I hope you all will enjoy these poems as much as I had enjoyed jotting the small phrases on a rough paper and making it in something rhythmic.❤ Some said my poems made them cry and some said it made them laugh? Some made them smile some made them sad. Some said it's my randomness and some said it's lovely!?
