Homeworld is cruel to their veterans of war. Especially from a war they have lost. For Jasper, the renowned general who has spent her days protecting all of gem-kind, life has turned upside down. After being cured of corruption and exiled from Homeworld, the mighty gem war veteran finds herself stuck on Earth trying to make a life as she battles the chaos within her and struggles with her affections for the human female who stole her heart.

I do not own Steven universe. This story follows a girl who was taken by homeworld and worked on as an experiment. She was taken at a young age and turned into a half gem half human on accident. She stowed away on Peridot's ship to see the world she came from. She has grown some and changed alot since she had last been at her home, but she can't help but see a familiar face and fall in love with someone she just met when she comes back. She doesn't try to live in the past but she doesn't want to live without those who use to be in it.
