Emily is a 16 year old girl who doesn't like the woods. Well, because of the horrible incident that happened to the eight teenagers. No one knows who killed them, but they do have very gruesome photos of how they were killed.
Emily has been seeing things ever since she stepped foot into the woods. She even has a "ghost friend" who follws her around, telling her secrets that are hidden in the woods. Cole, her friend, has been acting pretty strange, too. Her parents are also gone.
Will she find out who killed those innocent teens? Why do the dead teenagers hate her? Even her friend? Was it because she did something wrong..?

Its Leah again here to rant about how obsessed I am with the new kid from NYC. He has such a bad boy vibe, not to mention all the rumors floating around town about why he got sent here. We don't get a lot of excitement around here in this small town. I spend most of my time as a ball of anxiety, but painting helps. My little sister Mia is like therapy when she sits down and paints with me. She is such a little angel. It seems like there's Never anything exciting, until the one day there was. After that day it became ritualistic and the secrets started to come out one traumatic event at a time Sincerely, Leah Brauner. This story is about a high school girl that has a crush on the new kid that just came to town from New York with a dark backstory. Not only does she have a new crush in town but there are a bunch of other secrets that have been coming to light with every sunrise the town sees. This town might be small but boy is there a lot of drama. The town police don't know what's worse, the splayed out animals or the missing high school girls. Leah doesn't know what to think as the town she knew as her home falls to shambles. Will she fall with the town or will she run away with the mystery man she has a secret obsession with. Alyssan Bogard didn't live a long life. She died when she was 17. All she remembers is waking up in her backyard. She has no memory of her death and only has a vague idea about what happened from what she's heard while lingering around her family and previous school. The fact that the killings started again is even worse. With the killer targeting more girls, she and Sawyer might be the only hope of stopping the deaths.
