When they were fighting a demon Clary ends up losing her memory. She doesn't remember anything, besides the basics. Jace and everyone else have a difficult time having to cope with Clary not remembering them and anyone else. Jace starts to close himself off from Clary, hiding his feelings from her. She wouldn't understand his feelings since she doesn't even remember him. Will Clary get here memories back? Will Jace continue to close himself off?
(This is also told in Clary's point of view, so first person. There may be chapters where I switch view to someone else, will still be first person.)
If I do random time skips, and if I put things that don't make sense, please let me know. And if I stray off from the main story, or put things that aren't relevant I'm sorry! I'll try my best to fix these things if they appear. There is language, and there may be some mature content. Since this is my story please don't steal it.

Clary thought that with Jace's arrival, things could return to what used to seem normal at the Institute and at home. But with Sebastian running freely, new troubles begin to arise, hurling them back into another battle that threatens not only their lives, but all shadowhunters's as well. Now struggling in the midst of impending war, Clary must accept that an ultimate sacrifice must be made. Her. "Clary, please," Jace begged. Anger burned in his eyes, but Clary knew him well enough to see the agony behind it. She wanted to comfort him; to make promises that she could keep to the boy she loved, but she knew what had to be done. Clary shook her head. "You have to do it!" she shouted, stepping away from him. "Now, Jace!" "No! You can't make me!" he fired back. His eyes glistened with unshed tears and his entire body was shaking violently. Clary rarely knew Jace to look defeated, but that's how he looked, standing before her; vulnerable and broken. "Tell me to do anything else," he said. "I beg you, Clarissa. Anything else but this." She felt her own eyes well up, silent tears spilling down her cheeks. "I'm sorry, Jace." She took another step backwards. "Clary, no!" She turned to face him one last time. Shitty start, gets better, gimme a shot plz. After Jace cheats on Clary with Kaelie, Clary goes running away to see Simon who helps her get over this. She stays at the Institue after a few weeks away not talking or looking at Jace. Jace kept trying to talk to her but she keeps shutting him out so he stops, until he realises she has a boyfriend. What happens when an evil warlock decides that he is sick of all of the shadowhunters rules and laws? How long will she last with a new boyfriend and an evil warlock determined to take over the New York institute and not let anyone live to tell the tale. All characters belong to Cassandra Clare except I might make up few later on I'm not sure yet..... so if you see an odd name just assume I made them up. A character belongs to Gena Showalter also. Also, Jace and Clary don't get back together, so if you don't like that don't expect that to happen.Complete
