When they were fighting a demon Clary ends up losing her memory. She doesn't remember anything, besides the basics. Jace and everyone else have a difficult time having to cope with Clary not remembering them and anyone else. Jace starts to close himself off from Clary, hiding his feelings from her. She wouldn't understand his feelings since she doesn't even remember him. Will Clary get here memories back? Will Jace continue to close himself off? (This is also told in Clary's point of view, so first person. There may be chapters where I switch view to someone else, will still be first person.) If I do random time skips, and if I put things that don't make sense, please let me know. And if I stray off from the main story, or put things that aren't relevant I'm sorry! I'll try my best to fix these things if they appear. There is language, and there may be some mature content. Since this is my story please don't steal it.

(Sequel to Project Revenge) "You asked me to run away with you once, do you remember?" A conversation plays in my mind like a song. Slow and distant. "Yeah," he sighs wistfully "i remember." He looks at me up through his long, blonde lashes from where he's perched on edge of his mothers corner sofa like he shouldn't be looking at me at all. Like somehow he's sinning. "Do you ever wonder what our lives would be like if we'd actually gone through with it?" A question i had asked myself every single day for eight years. I watch it register across his face. "I did. It used to be all i thought about." He admits and rises from his seat to busy himself with straightening out the picture frames on the side table. His long, tan fingers lingering on some more than others. "What's changed?" His back tences as i ask and he turns to me attempting to straighten out his disheveled shirt and tie "Everythings changed Clary. I'm getting married in the morning." °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° Time changes everything, even love. Clary Fray had convinced herself that, despite everything, she was over Jace Herondale. She no longer thought about his lazy smirk and care free attitude, his bright gold eyes that could put the sun to shame or even the way those eyes had looked at her once the way mankind gazed apon the night sky. Or so she thought until she recieved an invitation to his wedding and the years melted away.
