Rex Benson isn't the most talented musician. His passion for the arts isn't clearly reflected through his ability to play French Horn. At a young age, Rex has always wanted to be great. Life however, was not always in his favor. He lives with a widowed mother and an older brother. Throughout this, music has been his only outlet. But, with his ability, he's always wondered whether music was the career he wanted to pursue. He constantly lives his musical career at the bottom of the barrel. The only thing that has kept him grounded is his up most respect for the living music legend, Christen Garcia, the man who his father looked up to and the sole reason Rex was inspired to pursue music. Luckily, on Rex's 17th birthday he is given tickets to Christen Garcia's upcoming recital. This is definitely Garcia's biggest recital and rumor has it that it's his last. From there, his life would become the greatest rollercoaster with a story about a kid who finds himself in the beauty, hardships, and determination of music.
