(Discontinued until further notice) Chloe Auburn isn't what you would call an average young lady. She is what is known as a Keeper, a high place in society. And now, she has finally come of age. Every thirty years, one is chosen. For what, no one knows. All they know is that whoever is chosen is never seen again. Rumor has it that they are put to work in the High Office. Others gossip, saying that they send the Chosen One on a dark and foreboding quest. But few know what really happens behind that locked black glass door. And they have a right for their fear. (This story is going to be.... very much so similar to another that I am writing, but they aren't connected.)
