Finding Mercy

Mercedes Azure has spent a lifetime running away from a monster she helped to create and a nightmare that occupies her day and night. Well, it would have been a lifetime, had she not been run down by a truck and killed.

At the same time, a girl wakes up with a pair of white wings and a halo...an angel, quite literally. In a quite literal heaven. But things aren't picture perfect. She has the scary sense that she doesn't fit in, and there's also the small fact that she doesn't remember anything about her past, not even her name. And she has a good feeling that heaven isn't where she belongs.

With the help of a pancake-flipping angel, a worn diary, and a cast of characters both amusing and tragic, can she find out who she really is?

And can she find her own mercy?
