Many people know who Henry VIII is because he was the king of England that had six wives, but many do not know that he was not supposed to be king. His older brother Arthur was, but Arthur died before he could become king. So Henry was made heir to the throne, and later became king. What would have happened if Arthur had become king instead of Henry? Here is the story...

No one knows the truth. everyone has a secret. And the mystery of the lost prince is long since buried. If he lived, and is here, then he's about to die. The pretender has arrived. It is now Henry's move. And the truth was never an option. Trigger/Content Warning: violence, torture, some sexuality, trauma is portrayed at length that may be upsetting to some readers. Grief and and end of life issues discussed. Some dark humor.

However after the sudden death of his brother he is forced both into the spotlight and into the arms of his newly appointed wife Amelia. Henry loathes her for trapping him into matrimony and it seems as though their marriage and the kingdom is doomed against the outside forces seeking to destroy them from within. Can Henry and Amelia move past their pride and band together for the good of the realm?
