You moved from Manhattan, New York to California(I know the sandlot is in Utah but In this story it will be in Cali)and met this group of guys that clearly play baseball. Personally you love baseball and softball and used to play for your school. You go outside to your yard and meet both Benny and Smalls. They ask if you'd like to play with the guys and you finally agreed. You then began to catch feelings for him and you come across a situation that brings you all together. [Benny Rodriguez x Reader] "You know, I think red and blue go well together." ~~~~ Summer of '62 was hectic. After all, when two kids decide to want to play baseball, it seems to be the biggest joke of all time. Especially when a boy wants to play but can't, and because a girl playing baseball is simply taboo. After all, girls don't really play baseball. The boys at the sandlot didn't think Smalls could throw a ball for his life, nevertheless play baseball. But when a girl decides to challenge them and give them a run for their money...
