Austin unclenched his jaw and spoke, "You're going to run from me." I was puzzled. What did he mean? He sensed my confusion. "As soon as we step foot onto human grounds," He spat out, jaw set, teeth clenched. He looked like a vampire at this exact moment. Angry, vicious, destructive. "You're going to want your life back. And leave me. Because you can't deal with a vampire. Because you're scared. Because you hate us." He averted his gaze from my shocked eyes and he spoke with ice in his tone. "And I can't let that happen."

"Listen human," Dmitri said to me, and he was in front of me in a millisecond, hands gripping my shoulders, pinning my body against the balcony railing. His face was inches from mine. "This is not your place. I'd watch your mouth if I was you."

I shoved him but he didn't budge.

"You can't hurt me," I whispered.

"You're a HUMAN!" He yelled in my face gritting his teeth. "How'd you even make it here?"

I tried to take my hand away but he didn't allow me.
"What do you want from me, Dmitri?" I asked. I was shocked at how confident yet quiet voice sounded.
"What do I want?" He bellowed. "You're a human, vermin. This is the vampire world. I don't expect you have any need in this world. I WANT you to get out, stay away from this place, the castles, the people. Austin. Stay away from him." He stared me right in the eyes when he said the sentence that prepared me want to leave immediately.

It was so perfect and special just for you and you're ruining it." I can tell he was sad but more pissed off this anything. "WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME?! I twist the end of the red strings that tie around my neck. My red hood flying behind me, as if wings. I hear a loud creak and turn around quickly. The red eyes glow amongst the darkness. "Breath." He orders. I start to breathe again and just blink at him. "Now go." He orders me again. I flinch involuntarily at his tone and jump back slightly. "Please don't let me walk home alone." I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes. Which is hard when I have Dimitri's abnormally large hand around my throat and his eyes are glowing purple and his fangs have came out. I am on the verge of fucking passing out with tears welling up in my eyes. All this happened because Aphrodite told me to come in this forbidden room to get a formal dress and whatever jewelry I shall need for the ball that is coming up. I had ran my hands over all the gorgeous gowns in this room before deciding on a red chiffon cinderella ball gown that had this gorgeous sweetheart neckline. I tried to find the jewelry she had mentioned when I spotted a small wooden jewelry box with their family crest on it. I had opened the box to find 4 rings. Two larger ones and two smaller ones. All four had their family crest on it with a ruby in the center of the rings. Dimitri had walked by the opened door and saw me looking in the box. And this is how I have ended up with his hand tight around my throat. Slam "I told you never to come in this room!" Dimitri roared. His hand is slowly tightening around my throat. It's getting harder to try to get out of his hold. "I.." He interrupted me. "You what!?" He yells. "Can't." I couldn't finish my sentence. "I can't hear you!" He growls low and dangerous. "Breathe!" I struggle to get out. Slam!! My skull echoed throughout the room for the 4th time. My head has bounced off the wall. Oxygen is slowly leaving my body and I can barely hold on. He never got to finish his sentence because Orion has tackled his brother off me. "What the hell Dim! You could have killed her. She's fucking human you idiot, you cannot go Hulk on her. His attire was a black suit which seemed out of place considering he was standing in an alleyway. If I manage to escape I want to be confident that'd I'd be able to have this bastard put behind bars. Again if... His eyes shift, my eyes widening as his eyes turn from a dark blue to a pool of black, red veins trailing along from his pupil to the edge of his eyes. His voice is dark as he commands, "Show me that pretty little neck of yours." ೋღ🌹ღೋ ⚠️ Warning!!! I can't understand that kind of complicity of being a vampire and the issues. I get it, they drink blood. Though there's multiple things beside humans that offer blood! He acts like it's so horrific. I would love to know what it felt like for a day. Just one day...
