NOTE: This is my very first book on Wattpad! I have (probably) improved since then, so don't base your judgement on me by this book!

Every generation, 6 animals with enhanced abilities are born with the destiny of becoming a Guardian of the Woods. A deer, a bear, a wolf, a fox, an owl, and a rabbit. Once a Guardian dies, it reincarnates into an animal born from the same species. However, no Guardians have been born for the last decade.  Because of this, the Demons of Furor have taken over and corrupted over half of the forest, and now no one can be trusted. There have been numerous hoaxes of new Guardians being born, but a new fawn might be just what everyone's been looking for.

COMPLETED STORY The agony is like nothing I have ever felt before, I slide in and out of consciousness, I feel the strange sway of the two legged's walk as I am being carried through the woods, I wish to call out to my mate but I am weakened by the torments cast upon me. I have been laid down in the cold snow and my tormenter is digging in the frozen earth, I once again lose consciousness. The next time my eyes flutter open I have cold snow mixed with frozen dirt being thrown on my throbbing frame. I'm not sure what is going on. I'm freezing, hurt, and confused. I rouse to strange smells that are new to me, I'm colder than ever and something is definitely missing. I attempt to stand but immediately fall onto a fur covered ground, wait, fur... Where is my fur?!? Where did my tail go? Why do my paws look bare and have moving sticks coming out of them? Who stretched my legs out? What in tarnation happened to my fur? I guess that would explain why I'm cold. I begin to take in my surroundings, I am in a dead tree shelter but it looks completely different, there is a fire crackling near me but it does little to warm my bare skin, I'm startled by the sound of laughter, I look over and see a two legged is staring at me with a hint of humor in his eye. "You are very confused. I found you almost dead in a non descent grave. You were shot and bruised. I brought you here and made some... changes. It was the only way I could save you." The stranger explains. I don't really understand what he is saying, all I know is I want my fur back.

There was a Spirit. A Spirit Wolf to be exact. She had fluffy white fur, and some parts as inside her ears, her paws, and her eyes glowed.This particular Spirit preferred to be alone. She did not like company. Only 2 years ago a raven wouldn't stop bothering her. Surprisingly, this bird became her beloved companion. He helps her with her job as a spirit-and distracts her at times. The Spirit Wolf's job is to bring life and to pass life. Bringing life is to help plants grow and to watch over all of the new mothers in spring. To pass life means to let a corpse sink into the ground and become one with earth itself. If the creature that passed had a good life, the Spirit would put them into the afterlife. If they died a very unfair death or was too young for their life to be over, she would help them reincarnate. She could not reincarnate a creature every time it was killed, though. It would only make them have infinite lives. The Spirit Wolf seemed unhappy when she did her job, but she enjoyed seeing the faces of pure happiness of the new mothers. To summarize her duty, she needs to keep the law of nature in order. Even though she despises humans, she helps them too.
