Wouldn't you like to escape your reality and all your problems? Emily White wished just that and her wish got granted. Now she can escape her problems that range from being the least popular girl in school to having her father runaway.
In her new reality, Emily befriends Chloe Argent and soon Emily's world changes completely. She starts spending more time in her other reality than in the original one. After all, isn't reality a very objective thing? Emily doesn't wish to ever live her life with Chloe, life there is simply better. It doesn't even make sense to go back into her original reality when she can have a life with her best friend.
