Pinky and the Brain are in the '80s. Brain struggles with bipolar depression and anxiety. He also seeks to rule the world. It's hard, though, to accomplish much when you're low on money, unhappy, and living in a trashed city with twisted politicians. Pinky works as a clown for a clown temp agency. He loves his job, but things are hard. Pinky struggles with worsening hallucinations and Tourette's. He still tries his hardest to be kind to everyone and smile often. Hamington is a tough town to live in. It's filthy, full of violence, and there's a lack of mental health care. Pinky is 26, and Brain is 49. They are human in this. The movie Joker meets Pinky and the Brain. I'll update tags as I post.
