After a normal check with the Doctor, she finds out she has cancer. Orihime decides just accepted the fact that she may die. But Ichigo and Ulquiorra refuse to let her go.

He used to think that only what he could see with his all seeing eye's was true. But that was before the women with long fiery red hair and stormy grey eyes. For a while he thought her nothing but trash that was beneath him but then he saw more. He saw a kind gentle being and began to remember what love was. Ulquiorra fell in love with a human and wasn't ashamed. He couldn't tell her knowing Aizen would use it against him and possibly order him to kill her.
