Elizabeth Wright is on the brink of insanity. Once the most popular and most-wanted girl at West Point High School, known as the "it-girl." Every boy wanted her. Every girl wanted to be her. Until, well, she is betrayed, her little secrets gets out, and the whole school makes a mockery out of her. But, all that changes one night when she is caught overdosing on prescription drugs. Elizabeth's whole world comes down crashing on her once her parents send her off to St. George's Mental Institute where she stayed for four months. Now, she is released from the institute and no longer goes by Elizabeth, but goes by Liz. The new school semester starts in a week is Liz ready for the criticism from her peers? To her surprise after being released she is the talk of the town and is even labeled "physco bitch", suicidal, and crazy. Now Liz is forced to find herself and is faced with new trials and learns the truth. She even finds out that she really is crazy, but she's not the only one.
