If sarcasm is the closest thing Harper had to home, then maybe overseas adventures hidden in the form of arrogant boys and witty comments can be the road to steer her homeward bound.

"So, let me get this straight. You stomped all over his paperwork?" She started. "Not intentionally, but yes," I confirmed it. "Threw a drink in his face?" She added. "Expensive red wine." I described. "Rammed into his car with yours deliberately?" she counted on her third finger. "Um...I'm not proud of that one," I said cringing. "And called him offensive names?" She ended the list and I winced. "Twice." I specified. "And you're still alive?" She blinked, looking genuinely surprised. "Geez, don't be dramatic or anything..." I frowned at her hyperbolic statement. "Maybe he's keeping you around to get revenge." She suggested. Possible. I wouldn't put it past him. "I didn't know alright!" I exclaimed. "Let's hope that excuse is acceptable.." She was merely amused. "Working with my new boss is going to be a piece of work." ** Synopsis: When the CEO of Signature Heights: Jensen Black, and a stubborn employee: Alexandra Brook, clash, it's a battle of wits & a war of perseverance. They are both dead set on making each other's lives hell, but when the story progresses they just might learn that first impressions could be deceiving. As circumstances reveal their true selves and opinions change, things could get complicated especially when suddenly feelings get involved. Who would be the first to concede? Maybe it's not that simple to forgive your archnemesis and maybe it'll result in some hilarious consequences... ** Book 1 of a two-part series (completed).High Rankings: # Funny, # Humor, # Comedy, # Romance, #Billionaire Amazing book, I adore your writing style, and I really enjoyed these characters and story -Reader Fantastic story, believably flawed characters and deft humour makes for a very engaging read, I could barely put it down to feed my children -Reader **
Ice cream, Teasing and Awkward Situations by miadaley17

Mia Collins just wanted to get through her senior year of high school with as minimal awkward situations as possible. However, that's kind of hard to do when you have a narcissistic arch-nemesis who's hell-bent on ruining your life. From the moment he laid eyes on her, he seemed to take an immediate dislike. After all, it only took a measly few hours of knowing her for him to kick a soccer ball right at her unsuspecting 11-year-old face. Though they did not know it then, this iconic moment would mark the beginning of what felt like a lifelong feud. Six years later and their mutual hatred for one another is still very much alive and kicking. She despised him, and he despised her and that's the way it always would be. But what happens when sparks fly, and stomachs flutter? Will someone break the eternal feud? One's thing for sure- Mia will definitely not be the one to break. ----------------------------------------- If you're looking for a hilarious, light-hearted teen-fiction book, with a whole load of embarrassing situations, this is the read for you. Road-Trippers by clairerigby
14 parts Complete
"In retrospect, I could've gotten away with this even if my parents weren't attending Mr. Frank's Kitchen Convention this spring break." Joey's not the kind of boy who wastes the week he has off from school. Staying local while his parents are away isn't even a possibility for him, so why not spend time on a cross-country road-trip that could possibly jeopardize his friendships, his sweet van, and his life? Yet, Joey isn't going to be driving solitary, listening to blues and moping on his road-trip of a lifetime. He's persuaded a few close friends to accompany him on his trip; Levi, a smart aleck with a heart; Lucy, a childhood friend with an alter ego; Emmett, a twelve year old boy with a knack for sarcasm; and Antione, an unexpected friend whose first experience of the U.S. is a law-breaking, parent-deceiving road-trip. For only a mere day, a few in the know of Joey's journey soon grows into a few dozen, and soon a few thousand all thanks to a social-media account titled, "Joey and the Road-Trippers." After that, their adventure is exposed for all the world to see. As Joey and his trek explode, things started coming up roses. Yet, this is a teenage-driven road-trip, so it's in the cards that something is bound to go awry. From a circle of identical brothers to encounters with less-than--delighted relatives, no road-trip can be left without flaws. As the strings of lights shines down upon this cautionary, traditional American road-trip with its panic, pleasure, and pain, the group makes a pact- to never let their parents find out. (This was my final project in a Creative Writing class last year, and due to quarantine, I decided to opt for an easier, more fun piece to write. It's kind of like if "Vacation," "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," and "That 70s Show" had a baby, I guess)

"I know that I can fuck up your whole life with one look. But I can't stop myself." ✰ ✰ ✰ Mia Rose McHenry tries her best to live her life under the radar, never having been one to enjoy the spotlight. For the most part, it's worked. All Mia wants is to make it through her senior year the same way she has all her life: by playing invisible. Enter Thorne Baxter, the town's infamous "bad" boy. With a killer smirk and a single wink, he manages to flip Mia's entire world upside down. And she doesn't entirely hate that. The unlikely duo couldn't be more different if they tried, yet that doesn't seem to stop the universe from pushing them together. What happens when the two's worlds collide, suddenly putting everything they thought they knew to the test? Will they manage to make things work, or were they simply better off before? [COMPLETE]
