Some people say that Weeping Willow High School is a normal school, but to the ones that stay back after hours, they say that the school is different. When the school finishes at 3:00, and all the doors shut, that is when the Secret Singer comes out and sings to the remaining few who stay back to listen. Many people have tried finding her, as well as the teachers and headmaster, but no one succeeds. That is when one boy decides to join the chase.
Melody Amber is your typical geek, glasses and all. She is basically invisible to the other students, with only one other friend to help her, and her older sister ignores her. But she has a secret no one else suspects, even her best friend, Millie, that when the lights go out, she is free to be herself.
Conner Bailey is the schools celebrity/prince, and has girls throwing themselves at him left and right, better yet, he plays guitar better than anyone else. But when he misses the bus, he is stuck exploring the school, only to hear the legendary voice of the school princess, The Secret Singer, and decides to try and get her to reveal herself, and sing a duet with him.
The only thing stopping him from succeeding is her sister, who has tailed after him since day 1, and the hardest challenge, Melody herself.
With the second year of Life Academy starting off, Tori notices that something seems... off about Ryan. Everytime she tries to confront him, he finds an excuse and avoids her or the topic. She's worried about her friend, and when she tried to fall back on the knowledge she knew of his home life, she discovered something heartbreaking. She knew very little about him.

Ryan was dreading the beginning of school. Life just loves him when it starts the day after his whole family died all that time ago. Sure, he's happy, just not as much as he makes it out to be. He wants to keep his secret a, well, secret. That's however getting increasingly difficult. Plus, Tori isn't helping much trying to figure out what is wrong.
He only wanted a peaceful school year. With more and more secrets coming undone though, that doesn't look like a possible outcome.
